Premium towel, tissue
products
Wausau Paper has unveiled a new, up-scale image for the DublSoft® premium
towel and tissue product line. The tissue products are suitable for office
buildings, restaurants, luxury hotels,
and other high-end facilities in the away-from-home market.
The line has been extended to include a new 400-count bath tissue that
features premium floral embossing,
and an indicator sheet has been added
to the flat and cubed facial tissue to
alert maintenance staff when product
is running low.
The product line features high-quality
premium roll towels, traditional folded
towels, OptiFold® folded towels, facial
tissue, and universal and OptiCore® bath
tissue. The patented OptiCore technology features a two-part core for controlled
use, which helps ensure maximum use
of each tissue roll in the dispenser before advancing to the next roll.

LEED building costs
BNi Building News has published the
2010 edition of Green Building Square
Foot Costbook. Available for a fee, it includes a collection of 59 recent LEED®
and sustainable building projects along
with their actual square-foot costs, broken down by CSI MasterFormat section.
Included are government projects,
commercial buildings, medical facilities, residential buildings, and schools
and libraries. These projects all reflect
the array of green materials and technologies being used today.
For each building, the book provides
a detailed narrative describing its major
features and the steps taken to minimize the environmental impact, both in
its construction and its operation.
All of the costs are broken out on
a cost-per-square-foot basis, along with
the primary specifications and full details about the construction team. The
book also gives insights into the indirect and administration costs of LEED
cer tification.

KLEEN GREEN™ is biodegradable,
nontoxic, nonflammable, nonabrasive,
and nonhazardous. It has a mild scent
and does not release toxic or caustic
fumes.
The cleaner is suitable for cleaning
aluminum, machine tools, concrete,
industrial plant floors, grease filters,
showers, and other items. It is safe for
use on painted surfaces and will not
harm hands or clothing.

LED lighting
Halogen Lighting Products Corp. offers
The Tool Helper™ series of LED lighting,
designed for machine and industrial applications. The fixtures offer mercury-free, bright natural white illumination.
Average bulb life is about 50,000
hours. Each fixture is encased in a
watertight, dustproof, nearly indestructible cast aluminum housing that has
been field-tested in hostile environments. The fixtures are available in arm
lengths of 20 and 34 in. and one with a
base and head only.
The fixtures are certified IP67
(waterproof under pressure) and are
engineered to withstand environments
in which vibration, harmonics, coolants,
fluids, mist, lubricants, metal chips, and
